We’ve all done things in our lifetime which upon reflection seem very, very foolish. Some are worse than others.
Certainly there’s no lack of fools among us, and like many of the things we do, some folks do much dumber things than others.
There’s a railway bridge in Durham, North Carolina dubbed unofficially as the toughest bridge in the world. Standing 11 feet 8 inches high at Peabody and Gregson Streets, the bridge has become a target of sorts. And judging by the video below, it seems like people actually AIM for it, which seems funny.
But what you will see is pathetic.
Drivers of large trucks and other over-sized vehicles head straight for the bridge despite plenty of warning. Some don’t even slow down despite the yellow warning lights which flash when the electronic height sensor detects that an approaching vehicle is too tall to safely pass.
And still they come, full speed ahead!
Yes, some of us are certainly dumber than most.
The bridge wins EVERY TIME!
